MICHEL BAYNE POTTERY
MICHEL BAYNE POTTERY

In his rural Lincolnton, North Carolina pottery shop, Michel Bayne utilizes both traditional materials and methods to craft his decorative pottery.

Beginning with digging clay along his sloping stream banks and splitting wood from his forest to heat his wood fired kiln, it is here, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, that the hands of the nationally-recognized artist produce amazing works for individual collectors and prestigious organizations such as the South Carolina State Museum, Mint Museum and Yale University.
